The Lifetime Service Award for the Evangelical Missiological Society recognizes people who:

• Published works that have shaped the field of evangelical missiology (especially publications through EMS);
• Held leadership positions in EMS;
• Served in, or led, an evangelical missions organization;
• Served at a seminary or university, in a missions-related department, such as missiology, church planting, evangelism, intercultural studies or global Christianity.
